Welcome to the DEVTSIX website, home of our airsoft team founded in January 2010. We are a group of milsim enthusiasts, located in Celje (and it's wider surrounding area), Slovenia (EU) and are striving to progress in milsim airsoft, the realism of equipment and armament, dynamic teamwork, equality between us and constant development, which all we try to achieve, by our best efforts.
We took the inspiration for our team from the US Navy SEALs or more specifically, the NSW (Naval Special Warfare), however we adopt alot of inspiration from other JSOC branches of US SOCOM aswell. Our aim is not to be the best or to achieve any other competitive goal, since for us, this would ruin the entire philosophy of airsoft, what we do, we purely do for our own pleasure and satisfaction, which constantly pushes us forward, to explore for more.
Our team name - Development Team 6, was inspired by two names - the DEVGRU (Development Group), the Tier 1 counter-terrorist unit of the NSWDG, the SEAL team folded in the cloak of secrecy, walking the same path as the SFOD-D, also known as CAG (Combat Applications Group). Secondly, the "Team 6" part of our team name, was taken from the known SEAL Team 6, which was the previous name for the now known DEVGRU. Other shorter iterations of our team also go by such as DET6, DevTeam6, Dev6, DETSIX, DevtSix and so on.
Our aim is to establish a small team of airsoft players, all equal within the team. We prefer quality over quantity, for the best results can only be achieved in smaller communities where things can be kept in check. Our focus is that every one of us is treated in the same respective way, we all and those that will join us in the future, have the same responsibilities towards each other. The only thing we are all heavily obliged to, are the rules. Those matter to us the most and if an individual can not respect them, neither can we respect that individual.
Since we just began with our team, we thank to all of you, who helped us beat the distance and get to where we are now. You know who you are. We welcome all of our friends on our website and forums, aswell as those, that we have not yet meet.
